Flashman is the arcade version of Pacman, it is an exact replica of the popular game as it was played in the arcade halls, including the in between level sequences of Pacman being chased and vice versa.
The levels are the same, and when Pacman eats a power pill he gets a speed increase as well, something that only occurred in the arcade version of the game, while this feature was not present in the original Pacman game the way it was played on the Atari gaming console.
Another difference with the console version of Pacman is the different mazes you have to clear as the game progresses. Where the console version always revolved around the same maze and the ghosts only got faster, in Flashman the maze changes as the levels go up, making it harder to clear a level, because a strategy that worked in the level before, may not work on the next due to the setup of the maze.
Flashman is an excellent adaptation of this classic arcade game, and one you will enjoy time and time again, because Pacman never gets boring or old. It is the mother of the arcade game and still every bit as powerful as it ever was!
